Class IX ‘A’ delivered a well-organized presentation on the topic ‘Environment’. All the students actively participated and performed their roles to the best of their abilities, reflecting teamwork and sincere effort. The presentation was thoughtfully executed and effectively conveyed the importance of environmental awareness.”

The SEE Learning Committee, along with primary students, presented a short skit titled “Compassion Beyond Human Beings,” highlighting the importance of extending compassion to the entire system as a whole. The skit also aimed to instill SEE Learning principles, particularly system thinking, in daily life.

Our school enthusiastically celebrated International Mathematics Day and World Maths Day with the aim of reducing the fear of mathematics among students and fostering a genuine interest in the subject.
A special highlight of the day was a skit presented by students of class X and XII which beautifully conveyed the message that mathematics is not a subject to fear but to enjoy.
The activities helped them develop a positive attitude towards mathematics and understand its relevance in daily life.
Overall, the event was a great success, inspiring students to approach mathematics with confidence, curiosity, and enthusiasm.

School SEE Learning committee observed the “International day of Happiness” with the aim to promote happiness and mental wellbeing. The celebration includes emotional activity, group dance, poem recitation, Thoughts sharing and wrong answer activity. It reminds everyone that happiness grows when we shared with others with this year’s theme “ Caring & Sharing “.

As a part of the “Year of Compassion” celebrations, the School Guthoen Committee hosted a special screening of the documentary “MissionJoy “.

The School SEEL Committee organized the final discussion-cum-presentation of Sections 1–6 of the SEE Companion on Friday, 27 February.
This marked the concluding session of a series of discussions on each chapter by each group which commenced in the month of August 2025 .
The discussions and the concluding presentations were profound and meaningful, equipping all teachers of STSH with foundational knowledge of SEE Learning.

The SBTPD Committee successfully organised a sharing session on Professional Growth Plans (PGP) for the year 2026 on 31 January 2026.
The session provided a meaningful platform for teachers to reflect on their professional journeys, share individual growth goals, and align their plans with continuous professional development, competency-based teaching, and positive classroom practices. The collaborative discussions encouraged mutual learning, self-reflection, and a shared commitment towards improving teaching–learning processes in the coming year.

26.01.2026 : HAPPY 77 th INDIAN REPUBLIC DAY TO ALL .
STSH celebrates 77 th Republic day at school . Where the school Principal unfurled the Tricolour amid cheers and anthems of both Indian and Tibetan nation followed by Principal’s inspirational speech on true meaning of patriotism and heartfelt presentation of students which includes touching patriotic poems , soulful songs, inspiring speeches , quizes and thoughtful nukkar natak on nation’s journey , constitution and patriotism.
20.12.2025 : On the final day gathering of academic session 2025 (for class I to IX ) Principal ma’am congratulated all parents , teachers and students for the successful completion of our academic year . Followed by Report card distribution cum PTM , where each student’s strength and achievements were acknowledged and reflected on where extra efforts are needed in future .
On the same day in the presence of all parents Drawing and art and craft sections displayed the creative work of our students .

All students appeared in the annual examination conducted by the school. The exam was held smoothly, and students followed the examination rules properly.

WORLD AIDS DAY-
Theme: “Overcoming Disruption and Transforming AIDS Response” World AIDS Day 2025 was observed on 1st December in our school, organised by the School Health Committee to promote awareness, empathy, and prevention of HIV/AIDS.The programme began with an awareness talk highlighting this year’s theme and the need to eliminate stigma and support people living with HIV.
This was followed by presentations by Class 7 students on HIV/AIDS, the significance of the Red Ribbon, modes of transmission, symptoms, misconceptions, and preventive measures. A short skit on AIDS awareness was also performed, delivering strong messages on early diagnosis, compassion, and responsible behaviour. Overall, the event effectively raised awareness and encouraged students to be informed, responsible, and supportive members of society.
The school felicitated the students and mentors who were the part of All India Young Scientist Exhibition ( Rashtriya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani ) organised by NCERT held at Bhopal , Madya Pradesh from 18 th to 23 rd November 2025 and also the students who had participated in Shivalik interschool Science exhibition at Dehradun .
Both students and mentor who had participated in showcasing their exhibit MAGNETIC SUSPENSION POWER GENERATOR at RBVP Bhopal shared their experiences and encouraged all students to embrace innovation and to be curious.
STSH extends our heartfelt thank to DOE CTA for providing this wonderful platform to our students.

15.11.2025: An excursion was organised for the students of Class VII n VIII at Barwala , where students participated in short hiking trail , outdoor activities and learned the skills of preparing simple food under the guidance of escort teachers . This excursion was not only recreational but highly enriching where students explore nature closely , learn the leason beyond the classroom and develop stronger social and environment awareness.

STSH celebrated Children’s Day in a grand welcoming way by all staff waiting for students at school gate followed by cake cutting ceremony , felicitation to the current captains and prefects , distribution of refreshments and most awaited program of dance and songs led by teachers and staff . The day was concluded with a tug of war between classes and gorshay ( Circle Dance ) . The day was joyful and entertaining for the student especially the staff led performances not only help students see their teachers n staff in a more playful and approachable light but also feel their love and concern towards them .

Guide and scout team had a meaningful day in the lap of nature .

From 30th October to 3rd November 2025, a Career Exposure Visit was organized for Class XII to explore higher educational and career options .
The visit included Shivalik Engineering College, Regional Science Centre, Graphic Era University (Deemed and Hilton campuses), Buddha Temple, UPES, and Uttaranchal University.
Students learned about diverse fields such as Engineering, Management, Law, Humanities, Biotechnology, and Renewable Energy and the scholarship option different colleges offer to students . The trip emphasized hands-on learning, industry relevance, and emerging career trends like AI, Cybersecurity, and Environmental Science.
The visit to Buddha Temple enriched students’ understanding of Tibetan culture and mindfulness. Overall, the visit helped students gain clarity about career pathways and future academic goals through real-world exposure and experts’ interaction.The school would like to extend our profound thank to GAC and DOE counselling cell CTA for funding the visit.

The English Committee organized “Sing a Song “Presentation on 18.10.2025 where students from class V and above participated showcasing their talents through group songs and solo performances.
The main objective of this event was to built confidence, enhance English language skills and to encourage self expression through the joy of singing. The event turned out to be success, thanks to the dedication and teamwork of all the class teachers and active participation of all our students.

On 10th October 2025, Sambhota Tibetan School, Herbertpur, celebrated World Mental Health Day with engaging activities to raise awareness. The program included a stress-relief dance, a counsellor’s talk on “Alexander’s Three Wishes,” student reflections, poem, and speech. Interactive sessions which includes quiz, Mental Health Bingo, and the “Flying Emotions” activity encouraged openness, empathy, and resilience. The day ended with shared refreshments, fostering togetherness. Overall, the event promoted emotional well-being and strengthened community bonds.

An awareness workshop on the POCSO Act, 2012 was conducted on 6th Oct 2025 at Sambhota Tibetan School, Herbertpur for all the staff members. The session, led by School Counsellor Penpa Tsering, highlighted key provisions of the Act, mandatory reporting, child-friendly procedures, and staff responsibilities. Through presentations, discussions, and case examples, staff gained clarity on legal obligations and strengthened the school’s child protection framework.

On 24th September 2025, a TPD workshop on Child-Centered Teaching was held from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, facilitated by Dr. Kelsang Wangdu la, former Education Officer of the DoE and currently the Deputy Director of Manjushree Education Service.
The engaging session emphasized the importance of placing learners at the center of the teaching process, encouraging active participation, nurturing curiosity, and fostering critical thinking in alignment with NEP 2020 and BEP 2004. Teachers found the workshop highly insightful and deeply motivating.
